UC expansion committee making progress

Paul Carney, vice president of enrollment management at Webster University, has appointed a committee to work on plans to renovate the University Center (UC). The UC currently lacks the space and facilities to meet the university’s needs.

Webster University is full of students who work and go to school full-time. Sophomore long-distance runner Jane McKibben takes it to the next level. She works two jobs, goes to school full-time and competes on Webster’s track and field and cross-country teams. As if she wasn’t busy enough, McKibben recently joined the Army’s ROTC program.

Track and field star shatters records

Even though Webster University junior Gretchen Rieger is a record-setting javelin thrower on the women’s track and field team and a starting outside hitter on the volleyball team, she is not just a two-sport star. She is a special education major who has already dedicated to help today’s youth by participating in the UrbanFUTURE tutoring program.

Plummer hired at D-I SIUE, old foes now coaching together

Getting back to the Division I level has always been Jordan Pummer’s goal. After two seasons with Webster University’s Women’s Basketball team she will work with head coach Paula Buscher at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
