A student believes the Journal's lack of Webster's International Festival coverage is a missed opportunity.
Letter to the Editor
The editorial regarding Rush Limbaugh’s future induction into the Hall of Famous Missourians is a perfect example of the double standard that is so prevalent in America today.
What Rush said was not amicable in the least. But where was the media outrage when people like Bill Maher and Ed Schultz applied similar (or worse) labels to figures like Sarah Palin and Laura Ingraham? Silent. Media outlets never seem to pick up on the same “bigotry” and “misogyny” when it’s applied to women of a different political persuasion.
It’s funny how that works.
