Letter from the editors
As your newspaper, we stand with you. We are here for you.
Dear students of Webster University,
As we move forward, we are enduring some of the most politically tense days America has seen. This election is not just something we are watching, but in fact the whole world and as the eyes of the globe are watching, the pressure can get difficult for our mental health.
This is a reminder to take some time for yourself this week. Take some time to breathe and focus on yourself. Make an effort to put your mental state first and check in on your loved ones during this time.
As partisan tension rises, we must also remind you to be careful. Protesting is expected to increase regardless of the outcome of this election. Videos of people barricading highways and intimidating others have arisen as early voting began. Please, do not let intimidation discourage your decision making and action.
As your newspaper, we stand with you. We are here for you. We will write for you. We will hear you.
Together, we can overcome anything.
