For the second year in a row, a Webster University student has been named the Missouri Collegiate Photojournalist of the Year. Senior Joshua Maassen earned the honor Saturday at the Missouri Collegiate Media Association Convention in Springfield, Mo.

Maassen has been a member of The Journal staff for two years and has served as the newspaper’s photo editor during the 2010-11 school year.

Kholood Eid, who graduated in May 2010, became the first Webster student to win the award a year ago. Bob LaRouche has served as teacher and adviser to both Maassen and Eid.
