On April 5, inmates at the City Justice Center in St. Louis protested. They broke windows and chanted as people gathered on the street below to watch the protest unfold.

The protesters outside of the City Justice Center building picked up the signs thrown out by inmates from the broken windows and placed them in front of the Justice
Center doors. The protest within the City Justice Center took place on April 5, as inmates demanded court dates.
