Gorloks denied scoring by WashU Bears

The drought continues against the Washington University Bears. The Webster University women’s soccer team dropped a 2-0 match to WashU on Thursday, Sept. 27 at St. Louis Soccer Park.

The loss snapped a three-game win streak for the Gorloks and puts Webster women’s soccer at 0-12-2 all-time against the Bears.

WashU (8-1 overall record), ranked 11th in the country and second in the NCAA Division-III Central Region, held the Gorloks to only two shots. The shots came from junior midfielder Katie Aubuchon and freshman striker Lauren Pratt.

With the loss, Webster is 6-3 overall on the year. The Gorloks take the field next on Saturday, Sept. 29 at 1 p.m. at Soccer Park against Illinois College (4-6-1 overall record).
