Webster University Men’s Baseball team will begin their NCAA Division III World Series run on Friday. The team will face the Cortland Red Dragons at 1:15 p.m. in Grand Chute, WI.
Webster defeated Carthage College 5 – 1 to sweep the Waterloo Regional and advance to the NCAA Division III World Series on May 17. The team’s triumph at the regional left their record at 34 -13. This will be Webster’s third world series in four years.
State University of New York: Cortland’s Red Dragons are currently 40 – 4 on the season after defeating Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute 7 – 1 in the New York Regional.in Auburn, NY.
Webster will compete against eight teams in a double elimination format.
