On Sept. 23 at 10:30 a.m., the Gorloks will take off in the first annual Gorlok-Griffin Invitational at Buder Park. The cross-country meet hosted by Webster University and Fontbonne University will be the first of its kind, as the Gorloks will take on eight colleges including SLIAC’s Fontbonne, Principia and Westminster.

It means a lot to me to be able to host Webster’s first-ever home XC meet,” Webster’s Cross Country Head coach Kyle Robinson said. “It was a big goal that I had when I accepted the job, and I’m very grateful for the support that the rest of the athletics department and university has given me to help make this happen.”

Four students will be honored at the Senior Day ceremony following the Award Ceremony. The seniors include Isabelle Llewellyn, Olivia Nelsen, Josh Clark and Kaelin Triggs.

Webster alumni Christian Gray and Cameron Sakuma will be running in the Men’s 8k unattached. Come out to cheer on your Gorloks!
