How do you feel about going to concerts after the Las Vegas shooting? By Hayley Abshear - October 11, 2017 0 498 FacebookTwitterPinterestWhatsApp “It makes you rethink the location because it’s in an open venue that’s open with a city landscape, it’s not in a closed building. It’s hard because the [Vegas shooter] wasn’t even at the concert he was at a hotel that overlooked it. How is security supposed to do anything about that?” – Josie Starr “There’s never going be a 100% safe place. I think people just need to educate themselves. Everyone just needs to think of their own safe plan.” – Madi Crosby “Security isn’t going be able to save and help everyone just because of the area that it’s in. How serious is it really taken?” – Sarah Jenkins “It’s easier to hurt a large number of people in those settings. It’s scary and makes you think ‘hm, do I really wanna go?’ Security can’t get to everybody. ” – Madison Rodgers Share this post Hayley Abshear + posts Hayley Abshear https://websterjournal.com/author/hayley-abshear/ Webster launches World Report Podcast Hayley Abshear https://websterjournal.com/author/hayley-abshear/ Domestic violence survivors find healing through art workshop Hayley Abshear https://websterjournal.com/author/hayley-abshear/ Filmmakers highlight struggles in the black community Hayley Abshear https://websterjournal.com/author/hayley-abshear/ Killer Mike encourages students to stay free and creative Related Related Posts Gorlok Talk: How do you feel about online-only medical care?Let us know what you think in the comments!
