Gateway Campus adjunct assaulted


At approximately 6:45 p.m. April 20, a Webster University Gateway Campus adjunct faculty member was walking beside the Arcade Building on Olive Street and was assaulted, a Webster Alerts safety message said. The adjunct was reportedly punched in the face by an unknown male who fled from the scene. The suspect was stopped by police and remains in custody. The adjunct reportedly refused treatment and returned to class. The Webster Alert said the incident is under investigation.

The Webster Alerts safety message was sent out to students and staff at approximately 10:04 p.m. April 20.
