Several rows of parking spaces in the University Center (UC) lot were closed off Thurs., April 14.
A public safety spokesperson said Thursday the spaces were closed off for iFest, an annual international festival at Webster. iFest is scheduled for Fri., April 15 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
This is the second time this week that a significant amount of parking spaces in the UC lot were blocked off. The Journal reported April 13 that nearly half of the UC parking spaces were marked off for the entire day due to Webster’s annual scholarship dinner. The spots were reserved for the university’s donors who were attending the dinner.
In addition, parking spaces in lots L and K are blocked off for construction of the Interdisciplinary Science Building (ISB). Until the ISB’s completion, 57 parking spaces in lots L and K are closed off. The ISB is set to be completed in the spring of 2017.
