Student temporarily arrested by Webster Groves police in parking lot

A Webster student was temporarily held by the Webster Groves Police Department (WGPD) and Webster University Public Safety in the University Center Parking Lot today.

The student was apprehended after public safety was alerted by phone that a student was acting suspiciously around a vehicle, said owner of the vehicle Drawing Professor Brad Loudenbeck.

Loudenbeck said he would not press charges and that there were no missing items from his car. He said the student would be handled by the Campus Life office.

WGPD released the student after Loudenbeck declined to press charges.
