What started as an intimate gathering with a duo on the dancefloor soon became a party filled with life and movement at the Centennial formal Nov. 13.
Dance through the Decades, an event which celebrated Webster’s Centennial, ended with the Centennial formal with about 80 people including professors, students and residents of the local area in the Centennial Formal. The event took place at The Edge of Webster.
As the music changed in era, so did the dance. Swing music, the cha-cha and ballroom took the hearts of the older generations while the younger students preferred to dance to their own groove. The wobble dance had every age “backing it up” on the dancefloor.
