UPDATE: There were 380 Ameren customers in Webster Groves without power at the height of a power outage on Sunday evening, April 14, according to Ameren.
Liz Edwards, Webster University senior, said her apartment at Webster Village Apartments lost power for around an hour between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. West and East Hall dorms were also affected by the outage, according to Nelson Saucedo, Webster University Public Safety.
Ameren said a tree hit an electric pole and caused the power outage. There were still 124 outages as of 11:37 a.m. in Webster Groves, according to Ameren’s updated outage map. The number has fluctuated over the course of the last 12 hours.

Ameren’s outage map showed 80 power outages in the Webster Groves area as of 12:10 a.m. on Monday, April 15.
KSDK reported via Twitter that Ameren said a tree fell and hit a power pole. KSDK also reported that power will be back on by morning.
Ameren customers can visit Ameren’s website to report an outage or check the status of an outage.
