The Webster University Forensics and Debate team was selected to host the Pi Kappa Delta’s biennial national tournament. The convention took place March 13-17, celebrating Pi Kappa Delta’s 100-year anniversary.
More than 80 colleges and universities from around the United States competed in the tournament. The tournament consisted of 14 individual events and 12 debate events. More than 900 people attended the tournament with more than 2,000 entries. The Pi Kappa Delta’s national tournament is the largest event hosted by a Webster co-curricular group.
Webster’s forensics and debate team finished in the top 20 for debate, individual events and in the overall sweepstakes.
