Webster University Assistant Professor of Accounting George Slusarz, J.D. died on Friday, April 6, according to a statement from President Beth Stroble and Provost Julian Schuster. 
The cause of his death has not been released.
Slusarz taught accounting courses at Webster since 2008. He previously received his juris doctorate from the University of Oklahoma and his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business and accounting from the University of Memphis.
Slusarz directed the accounting program, coordinated the business department’s internship program, advised the Accounting Club and served on the Faculty Salary and Fringe Benefits Committee.
