On September 11, 2011, Webster University’s Multicultural Center and International Student Affairs (MCISA) hosted “Prayers for Peace”, giving students, faculty and staff the opportunity to gather in prayer.
Those gathered lit candles in remembrance of lives lost in the terrorist attacks 10 years ago. Small flags in the grass represented citizens of the world lost in those attacks.
MCISA wanted to remember the 10th anniversary in a way that would unify the campus.
