The Webster University men’s tennis team served an 8-1 victory over Illinois College to open the spring season. The matches took place in Jacksonville, Ill., home of Illinois College, an NCAA Division III school.
Webster compiled a 4-1 record in its fall matches. The Gorloks are now 5-1 in the 2011-2012 season after today’s win.
For their next contest, the Gorloks host Lindenwood University-Belleville on Saturday, March 3, at the Webster Groves Tennis Center. Webster defeated Lindenwood-Belleville 8-1 in their fall season match-up. After the morning match against Lindenwood-Belleville, the Gorloks will square off against Dominican University at the Webster Groves Tennis Center.
