The Ferguson Project

The Ferguson Project was created in 2014 by a group of Webster University students for the class Topics in Modern Media: The Ferguson Project.

Michael Brown was killed on August 9, 2014 while walking home with a friend in Ferguson, Missouri. Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson shot Brown at least six times during an altercation. The shooting sparked protests across the U.S. and St. Louis. Brown’s death intensified the debate about race in America.

This is The Ferguson Project. It’s the story of the people experiencing the events taking place in St. Louis.
