Another tough L is in the books for the Loks.

Webster University men’s soccer lost Saturday afternoon 2-0 to Spalding University in the SLIAC Game of the Week at Spalding Athletic Complex.
With the loss, Webster falls to 7-4-1 overall and 1-2 in SLIAC play. Spalding moves to 9-2-1 overall and is undefeated in SLIAC play at 3-0.
Sophomore defender Henok Moges and sophomore midfielder Justin Kohler led the way with three shots apiece for the Gorloks. The Gorloks had a 16-12 advantage in shots with Spalding having the edge in shots on goal 5-2.
Freshman forward Jarrett Gabriele, junior midfielder Hunter Olaso, sophomore forward Aamahn Murvin and sophomore forward Issac Pearson each had two shots.
Sophomore goalkeeper Matt Coffey made three saves while allowing the two goals. With the loss, Coffey’s record is now 4-1-1.
Spalding goalkeeper Trevor Massa made two saves and recorded his eighth shutout this season.
Spalding’s Kornell Hilliard got the scoring started for Spalding in the 25th minute to make it 1-0 Spalding. Just six minutes later Hilliard scored again to make it 2-0 Spalding.
Webster will return to action Wednesday, Oct. 16 against Westminster (Mo.) at World Wide Technology Soccer Park in SLIAC play at 5 p.m. Webster will also look to end their two-game losing streak.
