Time For Three (TFT) will be performing in St. Louis for the first time. They are here to help the Community Music School (CMS) of Webster University celebrate 90 years of music education. Their concert is March 31 at 7 p.m. in the CMS. There will be a celebratory toast at 6:30 p.m., and an after party for donors and sponsors.
Besides the concert tonight, TFT will also engage in a student workshop March 31 at 4:30 p.m. The “Follow Your Dreams and Shoot for the Stars” workshop will have TFT demonstrate their instruments, musical journey and experiences as music students. They will also share their bullying prevention music video “Stronger” at the workshop. The workshop is free and open to the public.
The trio band is classically trained, but they reach beyond traditional genre classification. Nicholas Kendall and Nikki Chooi play violin, and Ranaan Meyer plays double bass. They perform classic music as well as original songs. The trio band received nationwide acclamation from media and fellow artists, including National Public Radio and the Wall Street Journal. TFT has performed across the United States and at European festivals.
