Webster recognized for accessibility improvements

Webster University will be one of five St. Louis organizations to be recognized for providing a more accessible campus for those with disabilities on the home campus in Webster Groves. It will be honored by Paraquad, a nonprofit organization with a mission to “empower people with disabilities to increase their independence,” Nov. 14 at the Chase Park Plaza.

The city of Clayton, as well asMercy, Monsanto and Sansone Group are the other honorees at the 2013 AccessibleSTL Shine the Light Awards. They were nominated for their efforts to increase access and opportunity for people with mobility, hearing, vision and cognitive disabilities.
