SGA passed resolution F1301 on Tuesday Sept. 17 in support of a new voters registration campaign for the 2013-14 academic year. The resolution also supports the enforcement and use of TurboVote, a nonprofit organization allows voters in 30 states and the District of Columbia to request a mail-in, or absentee ballot.

TurboVote wants to add a voter’s tab to Connections to help student’s register to vote. They even plan to send emails, texts and alerts to students to inform them about elections.

Students will gather Wednesday Sept. 18 for the Delegates’ Agenda in the Sunnen Lounge from 3-5 p.m. to present the idea to administration.
