David Stone, director of facilities planning and management at Webster University, confirmed Monday that he is resigning. Stone will stay at Webster through the end of August.
Stone has been at Webster for 15 years. He has been involved with such construction projects as Emerson Library, Garden Park Plaza and the new academic building, now being built across from the parking garage. Stone received his MBA from Webster in 2005, and both his daughters attended Webster.
In an email sent to selected Webster faculty and staff on Monday morning, Stone said the decision to resign was not easy, but he believes it is “in the best interests of myself, my family and Webster.”
