Sept. 10 marked a special day for some students from the School of Communications at Webster University. Students Sam Baiamonte, Ryan Caldwell, Crawford (Ford) Fanter and Caitlin Zera will have their films aired on the Higher Education Channel (HEC) for a series called Frames.

The episode is called (“Webster Student Films: A Thriller, A Homeless Competition and A Doc and a Comedy,”) it features local filmmakers and their productions. The students are currently studying film production in the department of electronic and photographic media.

Webster University Professor Rebecca Ormond, whose works have also been displayed on HEC has made the road a little easier for students to submit their work to HEC for consideration. Once the SOC students’ films were selected, they had the opportunity to work directly with HEC on the “Frames” episode creation process.
