Professors, students struggle with snow days

Webster University closed for two days due to the heavy snow and ice that fell on the area. The snow days caused the flow of some classes to be disrupted. The snow has forced teachers to cram everything they had planned into one class or cut it out all together.


Marletto’s construction near completion

Construction on Marletto’s Marketplace, the largest restaurant on Webster University’s main campus, is being completed after several months of delays. Among the improvements made to the eatery were new hallways, a pathway from Loretto Hall and Webster Hall, new windows and doors and a newly landscaped courtyard.

RAs terminated after 10-day investigation

Fletcher Bohne, Chris Robinson and Tony Burgesen were Residential Assistants in West Hall. John Buck, associate dean of students and director of Housing and Residential Life, informed them they would no longer be employed at Webster University. Buck presented each student with a letter documenting the schools official decision as the result of a 10-day investigation conducted by Housing and Residential Life.

Webster Groves residents fight university expansion

Webster Groves resident Maggie Sowash said she is proud to live in a beautiful old brick house in the historic Webster Park area. Sowash, who has lived there since 1987, also said her home and town are in danger of being disturbed by heavy commuter traffic and loud Webster University students.
