Students will no longer be able to purchase food with a meal plan option in the Sverdrup building this fall, as the Simply To Go station has closed.
A university press release cited declining customer traffic as the reason why the Sverdrup station will not continue operating.
Instead, the same Simply To Go food options will be sold in the Crossroads food court at the University Center.
The Kaldi’s library cafe will also be open for extended hours. The cafe will be open from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays, and from 8 am to 1 pm on Fridays.
Staff members who worked at the Sverdrup Simply To Go will be assigned to other food service locations on campus.
