Weekly Incident Report

On 2/8/2016 an identity theft was reported by a resident living in the 1000 block of Selma Avenue. The victim’s personal information was used to fraudulently activate a pre-paid Visa card.
On 2/9/2016 a resident reported a license plate had been stolen from their vehicle while it was parked in the first block of Hammel Avenue. The incident occurred between 5:30 PM on 2/8/2016 and 7:25 PM on 2/9/2016.
On 2/11/2016 police were called to the first block of S. Old Orchard Avenue for the report of a theft. An investigation at the scene resulted in the identification and arrest of two suspects who were subsequently charged with stealing, and drug possession. Warrants are pending.
