Webster Midfielder breaks leg in win over MacMurray

Senior Midfielder Taylor Overstreet was taken off the field with a broken leg after he collided with the MacMurray College goalkeeper in the thirty eighth minute of a game on Oct. 14 at St. Louis Soccer Park in Fenton. Overstreet reportedly fractured both his fibula and his tibia in his right leg. Ambulances were called to the Soccer Park in response to the injury.

Overstreet played in 14 games this season with 5 starts this season and scored three goals. Overstreet has played on the soccer team during four years at Webster and has made 52 appearances.

Webster defeated MacMurray 4-0. Journal reporter Sam Masterson attended the game and filed this report.
