The victim of a shooting, which occurred in Webster Groves Monday afternoon, died during surgery Monday night, according to a press release from the Webster Groves police department.
The shooting took place at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 22 near the intersection of North Elm and Waymire Avenue in the parking lot of a multi-family housing unit.
A press release from the Webster Groves police department stated that the victim, Laron Taylor, 37, died during surgery as a result of a single gunshot wound to the chest.
Warrants were issued through the Associate Court of St. Louis County charging Tyaaron Harris, 27, with murder in the second degree and armed criminal action. Bond has been set at $100,000. Harris is being held at the St. Louis County Jail.
