The Webster University Conservatory Theatre of Arts starts its first show of the season, “Top Girls” on Sept. 28 in the Emerson Studio Theatre. The story is set in 1980s and centers around a woman named Marlene who is trying to find her place in the world. While facing her personal dilemmas, Marlene imagines herself at a dinner with influential woman in history either fiction or non-fiction. Conversations with these women help guide her.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $12 for patrons, $6 for seniors and is free to any Webster student, staff or faculty with a university I.D.
